Max and I are frequent coffee drinkers so love checking out new coffee shops when we travel. We actually hit quite a few coffee shops during our few days in Savannah. If you know me, you know my drink is an oat milk latte. I’m happy to report all of the coffee shops we visited offer oat milk! Better yet, most of them have Oatly which is Max and I’s favorite.

I’ve put together a list of our favorite shops as well as a few shops at the top of our list for our next trip. If you have a favorite coffee shop in Savannah, leave me a comment below! I’ll add it to our list for next time :)

And don’t forget to pin this for later :)

WHERE TO STAY

There are a few different places you can base yourself for a trip to Savannah. It really depends on what you’re looking to do in town. If you prefer spending the majority of your time in Savannah exploring all the downtown has to offer then staying in Savannah makes sense. If you want to pair Savannah with a few days at the beach, Tybee Island is a great option.

I’ve stayed both in downtown Savannah as well as on Tybee Island. I loved both options but if you stay on Tybee Island you really need a car. We stayed at the Homewood Suites along the river last time we were in Savannah and it was great. It was a quick walk into town and the hotel offered excellent views.

THE COFFEE FOX

Located on Broughton Street, the Coffee Fox is at the center of the action in town. Because of this, it’s a convenient spot to grab a quick coffee on the go. This craft coffee shop serves a full espresso menu as well as locally roasted PERC coffee. For these reasons, it’s one of the best coffee shops in Savannah!

If you enjoy the Coffee Fox, check out one of their other several cafes in town. The Foxy Loxy Cafe is a stylish coffee shop with Mexican cuisine. The Fox and Fig cafe is a popular plant based restaurant in town. Lastly, the Henny Penny Cafe offers bakery items as well as craft coffee.

MIRABELLE CAFE

Mirabelle Cafe is easily my favorite coffee shop in Savannah. It’s cozy with a small seating area inside as well as outside. Aside from coffee, this little hot spot serves waffles and pastries. The waffles at Mirabelle’s aren’t just any waffles! They’re Liège waffles which are authentic to the streets of Belgium. The Mirabelle Cafe is chic with a vintage and trendy vibe. It’s the perfect cafe to stop at after admiring the Cathedral of Saint John since it’s across from the church.

There’s actually a few guest suites above Mirabelle Cafe, The Suites at Mirabelle. If you’re interested, the rooms look adorable and the location is excellent. Their website has more information on the suites.

CUP TO CUP

Another popular spot in town is Cup to Cup. We initially saw Cup to Cup on Chef’s Table but didn’t have time to check it out. The owners’ travelled extensively through Asia, Africa, and South America. Through his travels he learned about different coffee cultures, styles, and tastes. With that said, they offer a number of roasts from around the world!

PARIS MARKET

The Paris Market is basically next door to the Coffee Fox, mentioned above. The Paris Market is completely different from the other shops on my list; the cafe feels a little fancier. The menu ranges from coffee and espresso drinks to tea and champagne. They offer a variety of pastries and sandwiches available. But the Paris Market isn’t just a cafe, the space resembles a Parisian flea market. The owners travel the globe to find unique products to sell at the shop. If you’re into shopping, this is the place to go for one of a kind pieces! Between the cafe and shop, the Paris Market is one of the best coffee shops in Savannah.

THE SENTIENT BEAN

If you’re headed to Forsyth Park, go to the Sentient Bean for some take away coffee. Located on the edge of Forsyth Park, it’s the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee before soaking in the views at the park. The Sentient Bean also has a small menu with a handful of gluten free and vegan options. It’s a cool relaxed coffee shop worth a visit!

SAVANNAH COFFEE ROASTERS

Savannah Coffee Roasters has been roasting coffee since the early 1900’s! The cafe is easily the best place to go if you’re looking to get a little work done! It’s a pretty laid back spot with a chill atmosphere and plenty of seating. Since the coffee shop is so spacious, there’s plenty of room to take out your computer and stay awhile. The menu is pretty extensive so it’s also a great place to grab a bite to eat. We ate right before visiting but they had some items that we were tempted to try!
