Arrington Vineyards it the place to visit in Nashville if you’re looking for a little time away from Broadway. The views at the vineyard are absolutely spectacular! It’s a large winery with plenty of seating and outdoor space.

We’ve visited the winery a few times before and absolutely love it! It’s the perfect place to visit for couples, friends, bachelorette parties, and families. It’s a great activity for families since there is usually live music and plenty of open space for kids to run around. I’ve outlined our experience below as well as tips and tricks to visiting the winery. Please let me know in the questions below if you have any questions.

LOCATION

For starters, Arrington Vineyards is about 30 miles from downtown Nashville. In recent years, the winery has become “Nashville’s Wine Country”. Since it’s on the outskirts of town, it’s the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you’re in town for a few days, it’s a great day trip from downtown.

OVERVIEW OF ARRINGTON

If you’ve never been to Arrington Winery, you’re missing out! The Vineyard is actually owned by country artist Kix Brooks (from Brooks & Dunn), winemaker Kip Summers, and Nashville Businessman John Russell. The space is open with a view of the vineyards and rolling hills in the distance. It’s trendy with a farmhouse vibe, perfect for socialing with friends over a glass of wine. There are a ton of picnic tables scattered around the property as well as plenty of indoor seating. The vineyard is open year round! I would set aside at least two hours to visit Arrington.

TIPS & TRICKS TO VISITING

Here are my top tips for visiting Arrington…

  • Be sure to double check social media before your visit. They’re supposed to update their Instagram and Facebook when they’re at capacity.
  • Since there isn’t a kitchen at the winery, you can bring your own snacks. I recommend bringing some cheese and crackers to make a little cheese plate to go with your wine!
  • While we are on the topic of snacks, pack some water! It gets hot in Nashville so it’s important to stay hydrated. You can also bring juice and soda but alcohol isn’t permitted.
  • You can also bring a small pop-up tent for the grass area. I also suggest bringing a blanket in case you want to lay out!
  • There is limited parking so if you’re traveling with a larger group try to carpool.

VINEYARD MENU

Lets get into the important part, the menu! You can choose between a white, red, or sweet wine tasting. All tastings come with 4 wines and a print out describing each wine. You can also purchase wine by the bottle. They also do frosé all day. Their wine is phenomenal! I’m generally a red wine drinker but I actually really enjoyed their white wine. It was refreshing on a hot day in Nashville!

Pricing:

  • Bar Tasting (4 wines – 1 oz pour) – $7
  • Bar Tasting (8 wines – 1 oz pour) – $14
  • Picnic Flight (4 wines – 2 oz pour) – $14
  • By the Bottle: about $18-$34

*Please note: Currently the only flight available is the Picnic Flight. You can also purchase by the bottle.

There are also small bites available like cheese and crackers. The menu is pretty limited since there isn’t a kitchen. On the weekends the menu is more extensive with freshly prepared food from Simply Living Life.

ACTIVITIES AT ARRINGTON

One of the best things about visiting Arrington Vineyards is the atmosphere. With live music on the weekends, the grassy area is lively with people chatting and enjoying the music. On Fridays Arrington has food trucks on site! The food trucks range from a mac and cheese truck to a lobster truck! For the events calendar please click here. The vineyard is also family friendly! Kids are welcome but be sure to keep an eye on them.
