When you mention a trip overseas, most people respond, “It is so expensive to fly there. How do you afford it?”. The truth is, yes, it’s expensive, but there are a couple tricks to help keep the cost down. I’ve never spent over $800 on a flight to Europe; nowadays, it’s that expensive just to fly coast to coast in the US! While there are many ways to fly internationally on a budget, I am going to share how I find the deals.

My #1 travel hack is Google Flights. I’ve found Google Flights to be the absolute best way to seek out inexpensive flights. I primarily use this trick when I have a set of travel dates, but don’t necessarily have a destination in mind. The best thing about using Google Flights is that you are able to view the price to fly into multiple locations at once. Once you enter your dates, a map pops up with flights and prices corresponding to your travel dates.
