When To Visit
The Czech Republic is a beautiful country that has been experiencing a steady increase in tourism year after year. With so much to offer, it is no surprise the country is such a hotspot. It has a pretty temperate climate and receives a steady stream of tourism all year long. Below is a guide to some of the different tourism seasons throughout the year and the best time to visit
Shoulder Season:
The shoulder season is the prime time to visit the Czech Republic. This tends to be the spring months of April through May and September through October. During these months, the weather is still nice, and the crowds are drastically reduced from the summer months. This also translates to cheaper hotel costs as well making visiting during these months a win-win.
Peak Season:
Peak season tends to be over the summer months of June through August. This is when the Czech Republic tends to see its warmest and best weather. Although this season brings the best weather, it also brings in the most crowds. When visiting the country this time of year, expect to experience large crowds in the country’s popular towns.
Low Season:
The low season is generally the winter months from November through March. During these months, the weather tends to get drastically colder than the rest of the seasons. However, this season still tends to see a steady stream of tourism partially in part to the Czech Republic’s Christmas Markets. Some of the best markets the country has to offer you can find in Prague. Nothing like warming yourself up with a warm glass of mulled wine while wandering Prague’s cobblestone streets.
